Earthquake in Quetta-1935. Quetta, one of the finest hill stations in British colonial India, known as “LITTLE LONDON” was destroyed by an earthquake in the early hours of 31st May 1935. Around 30,000 perished within a matter of seconds. The earthquake measured 7.7 on the Richter scale.
