    Yes, it was during the days of the Bishop French and much before the two spires were added. The wooden steeples tumbled down after the Lahore Quake, never to be rebuilt but the masonry spires remain to complete the picture. The white chunam-plaster Roman Arches building on the left still survives. It is laid back now with the Narsingh Das Co-Operative Building and the E. Plomer Building sitting in front. It still has the descendants of the old Lahore dentist Ata, who was in the habit of extracting wrong teeth out of unsuspecting patients. My great grandfather was once his hapless victim-patient.
