Pakistan Army Poets – English Poetry

Pakistan Army Poets.

Poetry (the term has been taken from Greek word, poiesis, which means “making”) is a form of literature that uses rhythmic and aesthetic features of language to inspire meanings. Poetry has a long history. Early poems evolved from folk songs or from the requirement of narrating epics. Poetry is food for the soul, poetry is magic. Poetry is present in our lives since our childhood when we used to listen to nursery rhymes. Everyone loves poetry and the poets who write it. Like civilians, there are some good poets in Armed Forces too. This Post has a collection of English poetry written by the poets who have served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan.

Please book mark this Post (Pakistan Army Poets) and visit it more often, as new poems will be added here from time to time.
