Definition of Nostalgia by Merriam-Webster. “A wistful or excessively sentimental yearning for return to or of some past period or irrecoverable condition”. One always yearns for the “good old days”. A person can become very nostalgic to see one’s childhood home, old school or college. Retired Soldiers also have sentiments like other people. A wave of nostalgia sweeps over them whenever they see anything related to their military service.
