He was Chief Justice of Lahore High Court and also a judge of Supreme Court of Pakistan, and an ex member of Senate of Pakistan. He was internationally known for his publications on philosophy of law and modern Islamic philosophy in reputed international and national journals.

Childhood Photo of ‘Brig TM’ (Brig Tariq Mehmood Shaheed). Brig Tariq Mehmood Shaheed (popularly known as Brig TM) was a legendary SSG officer. He was serving as the Commander of SSG, when died in an accident on 29 May 1989, due to malfunctioning of his parachute, during a free fall display at the Passing Out parade of pilots at Army Aviation School, Gujranwala Cantt.
Brig TM was one of the most decorated Army officers with Sitara-e-Jurat & Bar and Sitara-e-Basalat.
He served with SSG in 1965 War, 1971 War and various other special operations.
